Mercyhurst Dance Team
The Mercyhurst College Dance Team consists of female dancers who perform at halftime of the Mercyhurst College men's basketball games.
They are also a competitive team. The 2002-03 Dance Team won NDA regionals and also received Overalll Awards for Best Choreography and Theme. They also won the Penn State Behrend competition.
Dance team tryouts are held every September. Practices are two times per week, plus additional practices are added for competition. They also attend an 18-hour competition routine camp held every October at Mercyhurst.
