In 1996, Mercyhurst College established a Hall of Fame to recognize the accomplishments and achievements of former student-athletes. The first class included seven inductees and the class of 1997 featured five. Each subsequent class, however, has consisted of one male and one female hall of famer, with the exception of 2003.
