Erie, Pa. - The Mercyhurst men's tennis team closed out the regular season with an 8-1 loss to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) opponent No. 42 Grand Valley State Sunday at Pennbriar Athletic Club.

Hansson battled Dang at No. 1 singles, taking the first set to a tiebreak before losing 7-6 (7-3), 6-3. Przybysz was even more competitive, taking both of his sets to a tiebreak at No. 2 singles before losing to Renato Tamashiro 7-6 (7-1), 7-6 (7-2).
