Erie, Pa. - Mercyhurst College graduates Courtney Olevnik and Holly Brown have been selected to compete for the south team in the annual IWLCA/Under Armour North-South Division II Women's Lacrosse Senior All-Star Game. The game will take place Saturday, June 14 at the United States Training Center in Downingtown, Pa.

Olevnik started all 15 games on attack for the Lakers in 2008 and started all 27 games over the past two seasons. She ranks sixth in Mercyhurst history with 32 career assists and posted 21 goals and six assists during the past year. She added 28 ground balls and had a pair of game-winning goals.

Brown started all 15 games in 2008 for a smothering defensive unit. During her two seasons at Mercyhurst after transferring from Herkimer County Community College, Brown started all 27 games. She had 15 ground balls, seven caused turnovers and four draw controls during the past season.

The south team will be coached by West Chester's Ginny Martino and will face the north team, led by C.W. Post coach Meghan McNamara.
